Here is an interesting double feature... a few years ago I was thumbing through the movie listings and I saw Soccer Dog being a fan of animal flicks I was mildly interested. When I saw that the sequel was being played later that week I was very interested. The entire Soccer Dog franchise! The first film was the story of an orphan that finds a family and a dog and the dog kinda plays soccer (he's no Air Bud.)
The sequel has nothing to do with the first one, and I liked it better. In this one a scottish soccer player finds out he has a son and soon gets a soccer playing dog. It was actually a different breed of dog in this one, I think.

Well, the week is wrapping up and I have not accomplished my goal of 2 silents and 1 film made in 2007. I plan to watch a couple silents ASAP. As for the 2007 film, I am leaning towards either Mr. Bean's Holiday, Res Evil 3 or whatever Harry Potter film came out in 07.
Any movie can be a silent movie if you use the mute button on your TV's remote!
Tommorrow's tip is how to turn any movie into an old time radio play using only a pair of glasses and some black construction paper.
